20201206_154652.jpg20201206_154658.jpgHello : I became the custodian of a stalled TR2 project #1891 . A typical Brittish car project . 1 1/2 cars in parts in boxes . In doing an inventory , I noticed that the wiper motor , mounting bracket and wheel boxes are missing as well as the blanking plate that the tube runs through on the right side of the car .Johns magnificient documentation of his TR2 project has been a great inspiration . I'm figuring that the early style wiper tube is unobtainium and am looking at trying to adapt this TR3 set up . The wheel boxes are a bit bigger , but they are 14 1/4" on centre , just a tad bigger than the holes in the scuttle . The one obstacle is going to be the radius on the drive casing tube . --Has anybody succesfully bent one of these ? ---or have any input on adapting this set up to a TR2 ? Thanks Mike

On my TR4 I just started with a set from a TR6. I cut and bent them with a tubing bender, very carefully, you might even fill them with sand before bending. I flared the ends where they fit into the wheel boxes.

I'm sure you can figure a path through.
