In English countryside today - saw a long door TR2 - with spats, yet! - then a TVR Chimaera and a nice chrome bumper B. We've been here a while, but until today the pickings have been slim. Didn't have the camera at the ready, and as we were riding, and the cars were going the other way, missed getting pictures. Hopefully will have other sightings I can capture.

Yesterday was delightful, for a change! We had a great drive and then enjoyed a pint and some minced pork pie at an outdoor pub. Heading to Abingdon today. Will try to post some pictures later on the other thread in the Pub if we get enough downtime.

Where are you now (Where is the Pub?) How far is Abington?

We're in England... In an area called the Cotswolds. Saw some lovely countryside, Gloucester Cathedral and Tewkesbury Abbey, and several villages. Car-wise, saw an early fifties Riley saloon pulling a caravan (camping trailer), couple of Morgans, an MGB GT, and an early Morris 8 Roadster.

Tomorrow we're heading to Hereford. Abingdon was postponted until our trip back to London on Sunday.

Oh, and the Pub in on your forum! (You really should check it out...)

Yesterday we saw a Jowett Sports; again, couldn't get a picture, but here's one like it - never seen one before:

Also spotted a couple of Morgans, a Morris 8, Porsche Speedster, TR6 and 7 coupe, and a couple MGB's. Got a few pictures, but not sure how they'll appear once I can finally post them.

That's a cool little car! What year?

According to John, the one we saw (not more than a glimpse as we passed it on the other side of the highway) was an early 20's model.

Sounds like a good trip, the last two years there has been a TVR Chimaera at our Calgary sports car show, a guy moved here fairly recently from England and brought a pair of modern TVR's with him...
