TR wheel and VW wheel Compatibilty...4X15...offset

Anyone know if the 15" 4 bolt hole VW wheels have the same bolt hole spacing and offset as TR 3 4 wheels?

Can't remember if VW's are 4 x 114 or 100, (you need 4 by 114 for TR's) but regardless of that they will be the wrong offset. Other than the aftermarket panasports, konigs, etc the only other widely available stock wheels that can work are for the old Datsun 240 and maybe 260 Z's

TRs take 4x4.5 bolt circle which is 4x114.3mm .

Later (1968 up) aircooled VW Beetles are 4x130mm. Early water cooled (Rabbit, Jetta, etc) are 4x100mm.
