TR^ Ride Height

I am wondering about the normal ride heights of the different years of TR6s.
Looking at stock cars, the early cars seemed to be lower.
Did this have to do with just the springs or were the suspesnsions different, maybe with different locating points?
Any one know?

I have a 1974 TR6, and it seems really "high". I have a set of Goodpart springs ready to go in soon.
All the "shorter" springs I found on the market said they would lower a car about one inch.

Though I'm not an expert on TR6s, I do know that the later ones did have their ride height raised, because of bumper height regulations that were added in the US at that time.

Richards,

I have Goodparts springs too. They do lower the car about an inch. I think that TR6 should have had the "Goodparts" ride height from the start. In other words, it looks great, and if a person not very familiar with TR6's would look at it, they'd never realize that it's lowered.
