I am trying to do as much winter reading as possible.
I have been buying "Triumph World" this months cover has a a TR6 with a mustang 5.0 litre 8 from British Columbia...
I found this months (Thoroughbred) & Classic Cars
Great Cover photo and articles on "The Triumph Legacy" and a section titled "What's it worth?"
Any other titles to look for?
Thanks in advance!

I like "Classic Motorsports". It deals with sports cars in general, however, Triumphs are regularly featured. As a matter of fact, I believe the next issue is going to have an article on "How to make your TR6 faster". Well written articles by people who obviously have a love for sports cars; British or not. One of the things I like is they always have a project car that they're trying to restore and improve (or just restore)and some kind of 'how to'.

If you become a member of the TR Register, you get 8 issues of TR Action each year. 84 glossy pages, every page in colour. Click below to review a few articles on their web site : -

I've been a member for 19 years. Click on downloads for an application form.

Also the December issue of "OCTANE" has 8 pages about the early race and rally TR2s.

All the magazines I would recommend have already been mentioned. What about checking eBay for back numbers that list TR atricles?

If you are interested in learning more on car restorations, Auto Restorer is an excellent read. They have written of British cars in the past, including an article on the TR6. The magazine is dedicated to both car and truck enthusiasts. A lot of good technical articles, question and answer, product testing and just about everything involving our hobby.
They have done several step by step car restorations. Much more detailed tech than Classic Motorsport has done to date. It just does not cater to our cars specifically. But, there are so many commonalities from marque to marque that make it worthwhile. If interested, call (888)333-0436 or go to www.autorestorermagazine.com

Hemmings has come out with a new one SPORTS & EXOTIC CAR. January '07 issue is out, and is the 17 totally issued.

Features mostly classics, and not so classic cars; mostly two seaters.

The latest issue features a '53 MG 'Special' and 1964 Czechoslovakian Skoda Felicia. An interesting article on John Cooper was included (Cooper Mini). Mostly featuring NOT NEW stuff, a lot of which is affordable.

I've been looking for Triumph World on the newstands over here around London - I haven't spotted it yet. When I hopped on to their original publishers website (CHPublications), they note that it is published now by Kelsey Publishing - but when you go to their website, again no mention. So is anyone actually seeing new magazines, or is it temporarily out of publication?

Randy

I just received my copy (issue 70) this morning. Mine comes from EWA in USA.

Call Kelsey on 01959 541444 or Tony Beadle at the magazine on 01895 623612. Tony is a very approachable chap and will do all he can to help.

Also check out: OCTANE from the UK.
December issue covers "all the works TRs" from TR2 to TR7
Found OCTANE at the local magazine rack when I was looking for the TR cover on Thoroughbred & Classic Cars. Bought both!

Triumph World is very much alive. You can e-mail them at tw.ed@kelsey.co.uk The new publisher is promissing better distribution. It was rather limited. It used to be published every second month, but it is just about to become a monthly publication. Oops, mayb I am not supposed to say that yet!
I am a little disappointed in Sports and Exotics as they haven't published much about Triumphs yet! They seem to mention early TRs regularly in the columns, but have not featured them at all. They also don't reply to any correspondence.
