TR engine dimensions

Does anyone know the weight and dimensions (length, width, height) of the TR2-4 4-cyl and TR250/6 6cyl?

I think that it will fit and you'll have to go to heavier rated front springs. But I also think that the TR6 and Tr4 front springs are interchangeable.

But I'm just guessing and waiting to see what you're up to.

I was thinking of the engine size and weight chart Dan has listed. The car looks like more of a vocation than a project.

I am dreaming of an engine swap. It is a twin cam 6 cyl of English origin. I am hoping to make a TR "purr".....

No bohemeth american V8s for me. Does anyone know the dimensions of the 4 cyl TR engine?

I wished that I would have bookmarked it, but read somewhere that the DOHC I-6 that was used in SD1's (Yes, there was an engine option other than the V8) was the final design evolution of the series of engines that that began way back when in a Standard sedan. Then again, other sources say that it is a totally new engine but was available in 2.3 or 2.6 litre versions.

A wicked thought had crossed my mind when I read that... then I flushed it out. Maybe on another TR6 project when I'm rich instead of famous.
