After checking head bolt torque and filling it up with coolant (since it overheated so bad last time), I took for a ride around the neighborhood again, actually got to 3rd gear this time.
Sure, it left a trail of coolant along the way, but rain is coming tomorrow and will wash it away.
I had to take her out one more time before I pull out the water pump this weekend. But, hopefully while she's down I'll finally bleed the back brakes and try to cleanup the hazard light switch in hopes that the signals and brake lights work.
Here's the question, I saw a guy selling rebuilt water pumps on ebay for $99, but no 12 vanes. New ones form VB are $99, but made in India, which scares me.
He doesn't have any 12 vane cores, but will rebuild mine for $99 plus shipping. Is it worth it, or should I buy the VB one.
The place is called East Coast Jaguar in Wilmington, Delaware. Anyone had dealing with them?
