I am must be a bit of a masochist as I just recently purchased a 1975 TR 7, I have an idea on what I in for having just redone a 1974 TR 6, I am try to remove the seats, they do not seem to fit like a TR 6 seat, any suggestions will be appreciated.

You should just be able to slide the seats forward and remove the rear track bolts, then slide the seats back to remove the front bolts and remove the whole assembly. From there, you should be able to remove the top tracks from the seats, if necessary.

The 7s have really comfy seats!

Ya, what Sam says. I just took my drivers side seat out and recovered on a new, never broken frame. These seats are comphy for sure.
You may find though, as I did on a parts car 7 I had, that the rails have rusted right to the floor. That is a PITA.
Good luck, and enjoy the 7.

Paul
