Just bought the wheel emblem stickers and centers. The wheel emblem came from the Roadster factory, and the sticker has a white splotchy appearance. Is this a protective cover, and, if so, how does it come off? ANy help appreciated.. Thanks, John

Doesn't sound correct to me. Try to get a single
edge razor under a splotcy edge and see if it "wants"
to come off.

If not; they're defective, send them back.

Thank you, Tinster! I couldn't understand it. I want the bright red emblem, and I get something that looks worn, faded, unattractive and not right at all. I thought it might be some protective coating, or something, and I tried with a fingernail to scrape off some of the dullness, and nothing doing. Weird. I thought I was missing something.

And this vendor has been good in the past. Anyways, I will return them. Thanks!

It will be time to get the TR6 on the road again!

Maybe I am being silly, I got this reply from TRF.

The stickers have a protective paper on the top that needs to be carefully peeled off. Start at an edge and peel the top paper off.

I ordered my stickers from VB and they did not come like that, they were very nice and original looking.

Maybe I should have got them at VB. ** SIGH **

Here is another answer I got.

Apply them to the wheel first. Then take the very tip of a razor blade and very gently begin to peal it back. The distributor said you shouldn't have any problems.

Of course, that would mean you couldn't return them if there was no protective cover after all.
