TR6 TR 6 Dyno session

Keith, The carb side of the thermostat. Is that blocked off?

Very nice, balance is the answer on any engine rebuild. Makes me want to get off my duff and get mine done, 3 more weeks if all goes well.
Just one question, how are you going to choke your carbs, when I took mine off the engine they came on, all it had was a universal solid cable. I hope to use the TR4 one, to get the knob right.

wayne on the webers I use one of the choke cables, strip the outside back to the first carb and run the inner wire to the middle and front carb, and when you pull the choke it chokes all carbs

Well there is something fubar. Unless you were running that with out coolant

Don most dynos have their own coolant system, if you look you will see the hoses are hooked up, the blocked off portion on the right side of the thermostat housing is for the line that runs to the Original heated manifold, Since I have Webers, they dont have a heated manifold, so the hole was plugged with a hex plug.

no problem, once I get the engine back in the weber carb adjusting begins, running a little rich but I bought drill bits from Mcmaster Carr from 1 mm to 2 mm in .05 mm increments, so for 40 bucks I can increase the jet sizes and when I get it right I can either order the jets with the proper sizes or just make notes on what I drilled the jets out to, but I pretty much know the idle circuit is running rich and what I have to concentrate on
