If anyone is interested, there is a brand new twin-down pipe quad ansa system for 72-76 TR-6's currently being offered on eBay. Search: "ansa exhaust" No, I am not the seller.

Just FYI

Thanks for the heads-up; a very desireable system indeed. There have been 2 other purportedly "NOS" systems auctioned in the last 2 months. In fact, the pic of one system I saw did not resemble mine in the quad tips detail (the letters "ANSA" were etched on each tip, not embossed as they are on mine). I wonder if Ansa has resumed limited production of them???

You have keen eyes. I saw that one too, don't know anything about it. But if given the choice, I'd go for the earlier ones with the cheesy little Ansa stickers that burned off in about five miles.

I don't recall the now-popular Monza system being made when the Six was in production, nor the Falcon for that matter. I'd rather have the most appropriate period piece - like the Ansa or, for example, the Lucas Square 8 fog lamps.

Also, the tip diameter of the Ansa is slightly smaller than the Monza which I think is better proportioned for the back of the Six.

My Ansa's are authentic NOS and still have the stickers (actually seem to be decals) on the side of the tips after 20K miles or so of use in addition to the embossed "ANSA" lettering. Perhaps the ones that burned off were due to an overly-hot exhaust from running a lean mixture?

I had Ansas on a bunch of cars: 2 Renault Gordinis (don't ask) 3 SAAB 99/900s, and 2 TR-6's. The stickers (decals) never seemed to hold up. Maybe I peeled them off, I don't remember now. The decal-less Ansas on my TR-6 are now about 13 years old now and holding up fine. I love driving the TR with 'em.
