TR2/3/3A TR 3ACowl Vent drain Tube

Rolks,

Where does the drain tube for the cowl vent exit the cockpit?

The one on my car was pointed to the wiring harness grommet above the brakes but it seems far to tight for the tube to exit.

Thanks,
Ron

There's a hole on he passenger side into the engine room. Its down below the starter relay. It is punched through with a lip around its edge. Its too small for the hose to easily pass through - it takes a real force-fit.

For earlier TR3As, that location had a blanking plate/rubber gasket closing off the redundant hole for the steering column for RHD cars - the drain tube fed right through the middle of the rubber gasket.
