I ordered part #650103 and 4 from the RF and after receiving both door latches I'm wondering if I have the correct parts. On the latches I received there are no holes for the square part of the door handle to go through to pull the latch back? On my car the latches seem to be missing an insert of some type where the handle shank fits through. Any ideas

Might help if you mentioned which car you have. On a TR3 there is no square part (unless you have the ultra-rare GT kit). Since you bought 650103/4, I'm guessing you have a post-TS60000 TR3A.
If I remember correctly, there is a separate piece that goes on the square shaft, which does not appear in the catalog. It's held by a special push-on nut (also not shown) and rides in a bracket that is formed into the door. Sorry, I don't know of a source for it.

I would say you got latches for a TR2-3, and not a 3A. The small mouth cars did not have exterior door handles. I looked at TRFs page, and it does not say they are for earlier or later cars, so one would assume they fit both, but that seems to not be the case.
Moss makes a note on their site that there were 3 different types of latches used throught the run of TR2-3Bs, and the ones they sell work for all 3 variations.
Not sure what you can do at this point.

Don`t know if mine is correct (I doubt the double nut is) but here is how mine looked when I took it apart. I am still far away from getting back to worrying about it.....
