TR-250 Source for "new" inner tie rod ends

Does anyone have a source for "new" tie rod ends for TR-250/6. TRF sells only reconditioned ends. Moss sells only the complete rack.

Thanks /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Re: TR-250 Source for "new" inner tie rod ends

I just ordered a pair of inner and outer tie rod ends from TRF and a new pair of boots, etc. approx. $275 + change Now, I just realized that an entire re-built rack is only $250 and new mounting kit approx. $75 So, wouldn't it make sense to replace the entire rack for like $325 ? Seems like a no-brainer. I haven't done this job before. Have I missed something?

Frank-

Makes sense to me, especially if you haven't torn down your rack yet. On my TR4, one of the inner joints was bad, but I had a heck of a time getting everything apart. Given the price difference, I'd pay the extra amount, get everything, and just consider it a very reasonable labor rebuild charge.

For what its worth, I tried hunting down inner rods a while ago and came up completely empty - I think the replacement high ratio racks are becoming popular just because of cost and availability.
