TR5/TR250 TR 250 issue with Clutch pedal

Anybody replace the bering on the clutch pedal where it attaches to the top of the shaft. How do I get the shaft out or the clutch pedal off the rod it is connected to? Thanks, David

DMShuman, bad news on the easy fix. You will need to take the pedal box out, IE, lots of bolts and some seam sealer to make everything nice and sticky, after that a "E" clip and all will slide out. The new bushing are thin so be careful. To get the old ones out use a hacksaw blade and cut them in half, if they are still there, most are not.

Wayne's description is spot on from what I recall. If I did it again I probably would have applied some bearing grease as well. Don't forget to disconnect/reconnect brake pedal switch when removing/reinstalling pedalbox.

Really pretty easy to do.
First drill about an 1/8" hole through the tube and then chamfer the edge of the hole. I used a 1/8" center drill but if you do be careful because the tip can easily break if the drill is tipped to the side. Because you will be drilling upwards and be under the area be sure to wear goggles or a full face shield, glasses are not enough protection.

Then simply use a tip adapter like this on your grease gun. Be sure to lay something on the floor to catch any lost grease.
