Hi All,

Looking to complete my 250 RO Wheel Caps,
lost 2 and have switched to VTO's and they are great
but would like to scoop up 2 for a full set
if I ever go back

Thanks and have great Day

Wow.. and I was impressed before with what people were willing to pay for Surrey tops!

Wow to the auction price.

Scott

Holy Crap, although they might be and probably are the only new set remaining on the planet so the price is what it is

Marv send me a pm
and the Surrey conversion is 99.8 % complete, TRF said the Glass will be here this week or next, been waiting 3 months for that bit

I have given myself permission to say this since I have owned my TR250 for 28 years, and I love the car. BUT, "I believe that those ROstyle wheel covers are one of the ugliest ever to be conceived by BL"

There, I said it and I will now return to the crevice under my rock.

As a long-time owner of a '70 GT6+ that has the 13" version of those same wheel covers, I agree completely. Yet, I love them!

Tony: I bought a set of 4 from Bill Piggott at Stoneleigh a few years ago. It was late in the day, raining and he let me have them for about ÂŁ200. I kept them for a couple of years but decided to sell them. I got an obscene amount for them on eBay, enough for 5 new tires and 5 new Konigs for my 250, and had enough left over for a nice dinner out with the wife.

I would guess a very good to excellent set would go for $1500 - $2000 +, but that varies wildly with the market. Also, not many collectors would be willing to break up a set. Good luck.

Tony,

My two spares were junk. I did buy another complete set (69 TR6) a couple of weeks ago. PM me if you are interested in them. We'll talk price.

Marv

Was the 250 hubcap unique to the 250 and early TR6?, I have seen pictures of same period British sedans, maybe Triumph 2000? that looked like they had the same or similar, know that wouldn't help much in the states, but maybe more of them over in England?
