With all the Helene flooding reports from eastern Tennessee, how is the Townsend TN area doing?

Mickey - how's things?

i am not Mickey but i am in the area. i live/work in Sevierville, in Sevier County (Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg) one county north of Blount County, where Townsend is. we got a bunch of rain and all of our rivers were up (from our rain and upstream in the Carolinas, but we had minimal damage here or in Blount. Cocke County, just NE of us had a lot of flooding but not here. i think most of TN dodged a bullet.

All's well here. As James said, lots of rain (just wish it hadn't come all at once!) and a little wind. But that part's pretty normal here.

The British V8 folks are having their annual meet here this weekend. Turnout is down a bit, but they're enjoying tearing up the Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway.
