Now before anyone freaks...I had them stacked. Was going to Roswell for my two days of free work at the old car yard when Tuesday was asked if I could tow a trailer down there..only about 110 miles so sure..trade cars with the wife, let her use the Camaro vert and I'd take the Durango...its her baby. Anyhow, that afternoon cruise to the recycling yard and there sat this very nice 20 ft. dovetail car hauler...steel bed...pretty new. On top of that was a very heave monster steel frame with dual axles..eight lug no tires. on top of that inverted a big single axle heavy duty trailer meant to haul something very heavy. Oh well...strapped it down and took it home. Wife was a bit stunned and told me I needed my head examined..and if I dinged or damaged her car I'd need serious medical help. 430 am ready to roll. Kinda slow till I passed Portales(or Goober Gulch as its the peanut capital of the universe) Speed limit is 70...but it felt like I had nothing back there. No traffic and just a few coyotes so set the cruise at 75 out of o/d and hauled. Text the wife when I arrived in UFOville and she said Bull..no way I made it that fast. coming home the hitch was empty so bumped it up about 10 and made good time.
