Tourist Trophy SS Exhaust

After the disaster with the peco header being uninstallable junk and me being tired of the p*** poor job the guy who installed the peco rear portion the first time causing major issues with exhaust leaks not to mention it hung way to low and drug constantly.

Pro's

Very very very nice looking system
Fit was excellent however I did have to spread the header about an 1/8th of an inch.
Bung pre installed for an o2 sensor
Nice and tight to the body
Installation was a piece of cake other than issues with the rear hanger being completely screwed up by the previously mentioned idiot. Once that was fixed it only took 2.5 hours to install with a good chunk of that time taken up by removing and replacing the carbs. One thing I did notice was unless your car is on a lift you wont get the header in from underneath however it will fit no problem from the top.
Cons

While it has a nice note and is quieter than the peco at idle if you romp on the gas it's got a great note but it's louder than the peco or the falcon big bore I have on my other car. However cruising in the city its quite pleasant and quite however on the interstate at 75mph and 4200rpm it has a deeper tone than a peco or big bore and may get tiring after a bit however until then the 18year old in you will LOVE IT.

Fantastic view of a windshield wiper but the sound is pretty much dead on.

I second Stewart's comments!

How did you attach the funky rear end of the muffler to your B?

If memory serves I used what little was left of the original mounting spot and then bolted a secondary plate to the rear valance. I then bolted the mount on to that. Didn't care to much about cosmetics as that was the least of the worries with that car. But the mechanics were excellent and the interior a nice place to be. Miss that car. The guy I sold it to did a really nice job finishing it up cosmetically.

Tnx, Stewart - the TT muffler input has a flange that my system doesnt have, plus its id is larger than my exhaust pipe. Consequently, will have to have an adapter made and welded to the TT so that it can be attached to my pipe. So, I am taking it to a custom muffler shop to have that done.

I like the SS Falcon system I have on the TF.(y) PJ

Got the TT muffler installed this morning -- much more mellow sound, but still slightly raspy - I believe its from the ss header pipes I installed last year. Mama will like it

Might get a bit louder over time. But Here's a pretty good clip of mine from a few years ago
Also I do love how no one understands wheel hp vs flywheel hp in the comments
