My TR3 is red, but is not the original red. It was repainted in the 80's with a red that was a standard color from Jaguar at the time (according to my dad). I have a few chips I need to color in and I am wondering if any of you have any touch up paint recommendations (brand / where to get it / etc).

Most major cities have a Sherwin Williams automotive paint store seperate from the house paint stores.
 
Tower Paint is another source you might look into. They carry paint codes back into the thirties, or can color match for you, which will probably be the best alternative, because red is a color that is prone to fading.

That works very well. Actually, most paint suppliers have a portable hand-held unit that they will take out to the parking lot. They will shoot 4 different locations on the car and the computer will get an average. The match is very close. I chose to have the paint mixed up in 1/2 pint quantity in acrylic enamel. Acrylic enamel dries fast, great for touch-ups, may need a few thin layers to build up, and dries with a shine. I use a very fine artist's brush.
