Just got back from my 1st camping adventure...I took 26 13 and 14 year-olds out into the wilderness to learn some "hands-on" science...we did water quality analysis, owl spotting and some great hiking-including a night time time to star gaze and we even saw the space station as it passed over us on the horizon! In 17 years of teaching, I don't think I've ever been this exhausted or had this much fun!!! I'm already planning for next year!
