Won't answer the question whether we went there or not ( :jester: ), but tomorrow night will offer a chance to see something special:

Eclipse

I only wish... It's happening so late at night (er... early in the morning) and my work day starts at 7 AM, so there's no way I'm going to be able catch the eclipse... :frown: Until next time it happens...

I would try, but then again this is Seattle and it is winter.

Sherlock, No problem. The next full eclipse that lands on
Winter Solstice is slated for 2094.
See ya there!

I plan on seeing it with the kiddies, should be fun.

Too cold this time for me to go out there an' stargaze. Mebbe by th' 2094 one, global warming will have finally kicked in and I'll be comfortable with shorts 'n flip-flops in a lawn chair...
Hope they still have CAB around. :smirk: :jester:

My pleasure, Dale!

Five bucks says Dick Clark hosts it

He's in a preservative we NEED to know about!!

Hey Mickey -- Thanks so much for posting about the eclipse. We stayed up to watch the event unfold. We're extremely tired this morning, but it was worth it.

It was hard to resist the temptation to howl.

I imagine the good Dr. did enough of that for all of us!

Indeed. But I omitted th' nekkid dancin' 'round a fire an' th' self-flagellation with tree branches this time. Too durn'd COLD out there last eve.

Hope th' neighbors weren't disappointed. :jester:

Spoil-sport!

Check yer email.

My wife and I got up and went out too, but unfortunately the sky was overcast and all we could see was a fuzzy ball that eventually went dark.
