Hi all does anybody have a good solution in how to tuck the ends of the top railon a tr3 back into the ends making a proper finish. I just cannot seem to commit myself as to the right way. I can either fold it in double or cut the majority away and glue just one flap. My gut tells me to fold it together and glue it in doubled over. I guess you really do not see it too much; however, the vinyl at the end is the finish.

I have had more experience with door panel and dash vinyl but for what it's worth I have always found that cutting excess (usually a triangular piece removed) so that when folded over you are not gluing vinyl to vinyl. Most times it won't hold to itself long-term

The vinyl on the top edge of the sidescreen doors at the ends folds back into the end and there is a stainless steel cap with holding prongs on the inside which hold this cap onto the end and this covers the bits you have just folded there. If you want to glue them in before pushung in the end caps, that's no problem.

They are available from the usual suppliers.

Thanks Griff for your note and yes that is what I was thinking. If I fold it over and glue it will be gluing vinyl to vinyl. But if I cut it then glue it then I will have an unfinished raw vinyl edge at the bottom. This is why I like to see how they came from the factory because ultimately I am just trying to put it back together the way it came apart.
