Thanks...it's been a tough week and I needed something to laugh at.

That was the perfect medicine.

Really Funny! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

eeep. Missed it by half an hour, apparently.

Good stuff, that. Top Gear is part of my weekly regimen -- always available somewhere for viewing.

I liked that Dolomite Sprint -- small snappy sedans are good things, if they can stay together long enough. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I particularly like those wheel rims on the Dolomite! I wonder if they would fit on a BE! The Dolomite certainly stayed together better than that Rover did!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif

I was thinking the same thing as I watched the episode, the Dolomite Sprint is a pretty good looking car.

Hello all,

an interesting and entertaining, if rather pointless exercise by the Top Gear crew.
Three old cars in who knows what state of repair, so it is hardly surprising that they had a few bits fall oof. (Not entirely convinced that the Rover's rear doors just 'fell off'
The Dolomite Sprint was a lively performer for a two door 2 litre car (First production 16 valve saloon car?)

Don't have a clue what y'all are talking about. Each time I've gone to the link, it says the BBC pulled rank due to copyright issues.

same here mickey

Doesn't surprise me that the BBC pulled them. The episodes are available around the old interweb, just have to hunt a bit.

yeah when I am going out buying a new Bentley I want to know if the lap times are real /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

they finally admitted the carvan trip and "fire" were stagged

When you go out to buy a new Bentley, I hope you would do a little more /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif research than just rely on the Top Gear crews tests!!! They are all about pure automotive
/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif ENTERTAINMENT /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif , and as such they are brilliant entertainers...the Monty Python of autodome!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif Scripted?? I HOPE so!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
