Top for Tony

Oh, yeah, Mike. I went there. Thanks for the invite to
check it out. Just what I'd like to find, except I
need one for a '74 TR6.

Sent out a post to the Triumph Forum some time back...

I'm a California guy, so said it should have been
posted "California Dreaming."

Understand these hard top originals are becoming more
and more scarce. If you see something, let me know.

Dennis.

I wish I was nearer to that one, it would fit my car perfectly! I would be interested in it, but the logistics of getting it here from the other coast are probably a little more than I am willing to deal with at present!

I will certainly keep a weather-eye open for you!

To bad its so far away - I need a top for my '63 Midget.

I thought you needed a '66 hardtop?

Both

How much do you think it would cost to truck that across the country? Probably more than it's worth, right?

Might be very cheep to move through a moveing company on a space avalable basis.

Maybe the bus company would take it boxed up. They will take bicycles boxed.

The seller says packaging shall be the buyers responsibility...I'm not going to LA to do that!

PS I drove a 58 Bugeye from Bradford, Pa. to Tulsa, Ok. Tore it up around War-bonnet Raceway for a week and got as far back as Terre Haute, Ind. where the engine locked up, on the way home, in 1966!!(Sold it to a kid in a gas station for bus-fare home) Did the whole trip with no hood (top)!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif Adventures in little cars are FUN! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Not really sure why a hard top is needed, I never had one and drove daily in Battle Creek MI for 5 winters.

If it were closer, it would be cool to just have for the completeness of the package Jack!
