TR4/4A Top dash pad vinyl is "puffy"

Hi all,
Looking for some tips/suggestions:
My top dash pad is in pretty good shape, I don't want to replace it - however, where the vinyl goes back under the top edge of the pad itself, it is quite puffy in places. Without removing it, I cant get to the loose areas to glue it or whatever.
I was wondering if i gently used a hot air blower on the underside edge, if the vinyl might contract a bit. Don't want to make it worse obviously!
Anyone got any thoughts?
Thanks,

I think that heat will only soften the vinyl, not shrink it.
Apart from taking the pad off, which is a lot of work, my only suggestion would be to try using a syringe and needle to inject liquid glue through the vinyl and then apply pressure.

I agree. Applying heat would cause more problems. Worth a try to inject some sort of vinyl glue and hold it down with weight.
Regards, Bob
