I have two sets of top bowes for my sidecurton car. Each one has a rust frozen spring popup. Have used penatrating oil, but can not get them free. Dose anybody hav a suggestion as how to get them free.

Have you tried gently tapping them with a small hammer?
 
I've taped banged twisted every thing short of breaking them off.
I just thought somebody might have a better idea.
