I recently posted about the trails and tribulations of trying to adjust the doors on my 100M and for those that commented or read the thread, we all know it is one of the least fun jobs to undertake on your Healey. I was lamenting that I got into this mess trying to get the driver's door to have a bit better fit. Well, guess the hard work and enough swear words to make a Marine Gunny Sgt blush paid off - took home the "Best in Class" ribbon at the Hilton Head Concours this past Sunday. That's two years in a row that a Healey has taken Best in Class with Randy Hick's beautiful Florida Green and OEW 100M winning last year and my Reno red over black this year. Thank goodness Randy was not in it again this year or would not have been the blue ribbon !!! So I know, it's "tooting my own horn" but proud of the old gal and that the judges didn't even comment on the bloody door !
Regards
Mike

Hey Nevets,
Trust me, if I could I would have during the judging !!! The 3 judges didn't comment or appear to pay any attention but as they will not tell you the deductions, etc, you really don't know if they did. I asked a couple of other judges if it was okay to ask but basically told most do not like to discuss how they scored a car. Guess they don't want an owner debating with them!
Regards
Mike
