Took TVR to H.S. reunion this weekend

Just got back from South Florida from my 20 year high school reunion. Took the 280i. It's an 85 and I graduated in 85. It cruised down I-95 over 80MPH without batting an eye. 400 miles round trip no problems. Stopped in Vero Beach to see Hayes at Wirewheel.com. He's got a lot of cool stuff there. Good to see my old high school buddies but most were married with children and minivans.
Cheers

Sounds like fun.

That would make you under 40. Wish I was.

We went to my 35th high school reunion a while back and most of the folks talked about their grandchildren.
Come to think of it, most of them looked like my grandparents.
And forget about cars....all Toytotas and minivans with some living in retirement communities. How depressing.

I drove an MGA to high school. Here's a typical comment from one of my fellow high school grads (as he watched me get out of the Miata):
"Hey, you're still driving those teeny-tiny cars! Do you still have an MG?"
"Yep. Where's your '57 Chevy?"
"Oh I sold that years ago. Want to see my new Camry?"

I did run into some old friends so it wasn't all bad!
