While looking at a link from a previous post,I
noticed that there was a Dodge Charger meet here in Eureka.
Missed them in the early afternoon,so I drove the new Cortina out to where they were having dinner.
There were only about 8 cars that showed up.They were
either '66's,69's,or '71 -'72's.One of the owners parked his '69 next to my car.He got out & seemed pretty excited.
"Is that a Cortina?",he asked. He then pulled out his camera
& proceeded to take multiple shots of the car.
It's nice to hear time-to-time that some people appreciate the "Daily Driver" British cars.

Yeah, I used to like to go to local cars shows with my Brit cars. It's fun to show up with something different.

Now that I don't have any street-worthy Brits (my daily driver is a Miata), I sorta miss doing that.

I am in the middle of an enormous project at work that will last until early '08. When that's done, I'm building (or buying) a street Spridget for a weekend toy.
