Tony Bennett

A remarkable run that's for sure and how many generations did he introduce to the crooners? especially via his duets

What a shame. His work will live on though. I saw him perform live multiple times.
The first time I saw him was in 1973... my wife and I were just married. We bought tickets to see him at the Playboy Club in NJ (now gone) for my parents and my wife's parents. We paid $8/ticket YES, it's TRUE!

A terrible shame. He was an incredibly talented guy.

I always liked it when he sang "I Left My Heart In San Francisco".
Reminds me of the Magical place it was back then, but sadly,no more.

Can't buy popcorn for that these days.
I found a place….. I’m at Hershey Park right now with the grandkids.
Popcorn $6.13. Of course you have to pay $25 to park plus the admission ticket to be able to pay $6.13 for popcorn 🍿

Is the number 613 of some significance?

I’m guessing they charge that price so when the PA sales tax is added it comes out to $6.50.

Now it makes sense, but still expensive.

Especially when you add up all tickets, parking and arcade games that the kids “have to play” BUT, I would rather spend it here than on doctors (y)
