What is the best to use to clean the leather tonnue cover on my dad's tr3a? It's white original and it just had dirt and grit from years of use. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif

It is the original Tonnue. I thought it was leather. Just Vinyl? I'll try the soft scrub idea /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thankyousign.gif

Don't use anything harsh. No degreasers or solvents or heavy abrasives. Before trying anything, test it in a nonvisible area. Soft scrub obviously passes the test.
Just remember that the vinyl in the tonneau is a petroleum base and will desolve or melt when using the wrong product.
Robbins recommends not using a vinyl protector such as Armorall. Especially with a white tonneau. It would collect more dirt than your vaccuum cleaner.

Jungle Jake/Simple Green is a mild degreaser that can be used. It's very mild when diluted. I've used it on every possible interior/exterior project.
