I've got a set of turntables, and a Dunlop AG0-40 "Bombsight" toe gauge. I went back to using strings. A lot quicker to do, and just as accurate.
Bumpsteer is a whole different story! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Like some others here at BCF, I am also interested in machine-shop fabrication (I'm a nut for model steam engines).

Anyway, I thought I'd pass on a site from Sherline (they sell small-scale model engineering equipment and tools...and they sell a race car alignment system).
The site explains their alignment system (and there is free downloadable plans that you could use to build part of the system at the bottom of the page). Worth looking at.

Thanks for the link. It's very interesting.

I have a Sherline lathe and milling machine, which I need for my work. Just so happens that they're very useful for making car and bicycle parts too, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif although it's limited in the size of the parts you can machine. I'm pretty limited in skill, anyway. But, they are nice tools and Sherline makes pretty good stuff.
