Today's Healey drive didn't happen

It was a nice sunny day here in eastern NC with the temperature in the high 60s. My wife and I decided to take a Healey drive, catch the ferry and have lunch on the other side of the sound. I went out to start the car and when I pushed the clutch pedal in, it stayed on the floor. No clutch. Being all spiffed up in my clean jeans, I did not try to diagnose the problem, just fired up the other car for the trip. Oh well, just another day in the life of a British car owner.

Yes, that just sucks sometime :frown:

While it was barely in the 50s here in Toledo, my wife & I DID manage to go for a short ride in the Healey. We're feeding a friend's two (2) cats and yard animals (birds & squirrels) while they're spending a week away. Hey, any excuse to drive a Healey is a good one; am I right?

My guess is, you'll have plenty more opportunities to drive your Healey, before we can look forward to going out in ours again.

Hope that your fix is an easy one (maybe just a bad hose, or crapped out seal in the slave...).

I hate it when that happens....... I can relate.
I hope your lunch was good.... the ferry and such sounded like the thing to do.!!
