Called my insurance folks and the short answer is 111.10 per year no deductables, agreed valuation, with all the under insured and uninsured coverage, colusion and comprensive.

Now that ain't bad folks all they wanted to hear was that it was kept in a locked garage.

Found the noise when I go over bumps, mufler bolt was not tight. sigh.

Otherwise, she has about 50 miles on her now and runs better all the time, even second gear is getting smoother, 3 and 4th smooth as silk.

Progress is always good. I'm waiting on my mondo-Tony order for my next round.

Who'd you wind up with for insurance?

I hope it's State Farm... I have a REALLY good relationship with my agent. But I had to "interview" a number of 'em to find him (READ: kiss a lot of frogs).

No it was an outfit that USAA uses for antique cars. American Collectiors Insurance.

Thank you Jack. I am still waiting to hear from our insurance about how much they are going to charge. I went ahead and put just the state required liability on it so I culd drive it for now, but I have to be real careful.
I have about 150 miles so far and after today's excursion I have to say, every drive it sounds happier and runs a little smoother.
It's like childbirth...you sort of forget all the pain once you have the baby to play with. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/yesnod.gif

Hoo boy, only a few more weeks, but a long way to finish I'm afraid.

Jack - that company & USAA are the ONLY way I insure my cars! I hope you never have to deal with them but if you do, they just send you a check & tell you to keep the car if you want! No questions ever asked - only time there's discussions is if you want to repair after an acident....

...right now, I'm providing parts prices & info to the local USAA adjuster for an MGB the owner wants repaired! Adjuster is going with my recommendations (he also had me appraise it for replacement/repair value) & are working with the owner & his restoration shop!
