Is my daughter's 19th birthday. The family went out for dinner and she had her first legal beverage (raspberry beer) It's amazing to think that this is my baby. 19 years sure doesn't seem so long ago.

Know what you mean, J-P. Son Paul turned 29 last month, and is getting married in August.

Congats JP. She shares her Birthday with a very important person in my life....SHMBO Dr Mrs Bos

19 is legal there?

yup. Back in the day, it moved from 18 to 19 exactly one month before my 18th Birthday - imagine how excited I was. (not that it mattered much :thirsty: )

You're not kidding that they grow up fast.

Here's me reading to my grandaughter recently (first picture). The second picture is me reading to her Mom about 35 years ago.
It seems like just a few years ago to me.
(by the way, in the older picture, I'm reading Autoweek).

JP, you're still young enough to have a 19 y.o daughter!

Do we have a picture of said 19 birthday girl?

(BTW, you get extra bonus points if the current pic is w/ her wearing a birthday hat. Not too easy to get a 19 y.o to sport one of those.)

well, she is my baby

No birthday hat but mother and daughter on a cruise in February

awww, I was hopin' fer a hat.

( ya don't see too many of those now'a'days.

My foster niece just had her sweet 16 and she had a tiara that was made from the hat stuff.

Our oldest will be 29 this year (8/8/10).
