I actually heard some well-known national figure (whose name escapes me at the moment) admit on national TV that our trips to the moon were a ruse.

I still don't believe that we did.

I want to believe we were there as well as anyone. It's hard for me to believe we weren't! But somethings make you wonder what is and what isn't! Roswell, here we go again!

Hmmm - he said they didn't happen? (find that pretty hard to believe...)

or did he say they were done, but only for public relations?

Notice that Bill made his posting at 4am in the morning :cooler:

rest assured with today's satellite technology that
can read a license plate on a car... another country
not being able to validate our expended equipment
on the moon would surely have been exposed....

and Tony...that's 3:00 a.m. to us midwesterns....

I have a bunch of these hats for sale cheap. One size fits all.

The movie, "Capricorn One" was about a faked trip to the moon by NASA.

I think that at the time, the Soviet Union would have found no greater glee than to expose the moon landing as faked.

Hey Bill, I find that radio show quite amusing! Aks me if I believe everything said, later! :nonono:

aweman, i believe we did go, no telling who did what to those photos, but as far as the u.f.o stuff seeing is believing and i along with my older brother and a neighbor friend while at the age of being in grade school did see and know, no one can take that away from us!. :yesnod:

About Aliens from space, I.M.H.O one has to be pretty Arrogant not to have at least an open mind about thier exixtance in this vast universe. Although I myslef have never saw what I could verify as a "Flying Saucer" I have undoubtedly seen U.F.O.`s. About the landing on the moon, one would think if that manned landing was a farce. Foriegn Governments would unboubtedly do thier level best to debunk it, especialy Russia and or China. As for Not believing ALL of what is said on Coast to Coast IE. George Nory`s radio show, one that comes to mind right off is "Shadow People" {there are others} I do fing listening to the show itself quite amusing, or maybe a better term to use here would be entertaning. The moon landing, I might be persuaded either way with enough proof. I wasn`t there myself so for me, right now, i`ll put it in the ok if you say so category until solidly proven otherwise.
B.T.W. I can take you to a place in Idaho where other than there is too much gravity and breathable air and lacking large craters you would swear you were according what to pics of the moon you have seen on the actual moon itself. But that`s neither here nor there as far as did we actually land on the moon or not.

I'd say that the universe would be an awful waste of space if we were it.

If Neil Armstrong says he trod the moon's surface, I believe it.

I'd believe anything Neil said (one of my heroes)! :winner1:

This may sound weird but my sister's second husband was a US government high-tech welder on such as the moon rover. He built the thing but was kept is such secrecy that even he has doubts.

Bill, Could I tell you stories! About 99.9% of the Welders I know, {And I might add I have known more than just a few in my day} do more than drink a bit! Most drink a bunch and often! Some use "Other" recreational drugs combined with alcohol as well.
Doesn`t make em any less inept at thier trade, unless of course inebriated while practicing the art.

I heard that coast-to-coast looney program late one night while driving some backroad in Kentucky...was some interesting listening - my laughing kept me awake for the drive!

Here in Huntsville, AL they'd take offense to any notion that they didn't put a man on the moor!
