Tires

I was looking at my tires today and just felt that they needed to go by the end of winter. I have a '96 XJ6 (225/60/16) on a set crap Toyos that were on the car when I bought it. I'm thinking either Continentals, Dunlops or Pirellis. I'm 19 and these are going to be the first new set of tires I'm going to buy.

Any recommendations? Experiences?

I had otherwise been quite satisfied with Toyo tires on my 83 XJ6. True they were inexpensive though excellent performance and rather long life. Continental, Dunlop and Pirelli are known for being high quality tires, though Pirelli is now using 10% reused rubber. Their prices reflect the perception.

thanks for the info. do you happen to know how many miles or km the toyos can reach? I'm leaning towards pirelli P4's and they are around 75,000 - 85,000 miles per set.
