What is a good tire for my TR6? Discount Tire has a sale and although I won't need them for a while I might as well buy them now.

Just something to keep in mind, modern tires have a limited shelf life. Opinions vary on just how long that is, but everyone seems to agree that 10 years from date of manufacture is the upper limit (and some say as short as 7 years). If you won't be driving very many miles in a year, it might pay to wait until you need them.

I've been really happy with my Bridgestone Potenzas, but Discount Tire doesn't carry them, and I don't know if they come in your size anyway. I'm running them in 205/55 on TR6 wheels.

I agree -- stocking up on tires would be like stocking up on avocados.

Anyway -- seems like someone is always having a sale and in my experience Discount Tire will match the internet price if you bring them a printout -- that's how I got my Potenzas (195/65 in my case) -- a fine tire.
