TR4/4A Tires! Sizes! Help!

Hey Guys. I am going to replace the current tires on my TR4A and I am hoping you all can chime in with your thoughts/experiences/recommendations. I currently have Pirelli 185 70 SR15 tires. Calling around, it seems like that is a tough size to find. Do you have suggestions as to what would be the best size for this car?

Your wisdom is appreciated.

185/15 (known as a metric size, no aspect ratio) will be a slightly taller tire and may fill the wheel well better. I have Vred Sprint Classics on a couple of cars and really like them best of all the brands I've tried.

165/15 may be closer to the original tires for the 4A but if you are used to the wider tire you may not want them.

I have ordered several sets of tires from Tires-Easy and have always received them quickly and very fresh.
