My father is restoring a 1979 MG midget. It has 13 inch, 4 bolt wheels and he is looking to purchase new ones. Does anyone know where he can find these?????????? He would like to get new tires and new rims, but he can not find any small enough to fit his car. We would GREATLY APPRECIATE your help!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hillary - what type wheels does he need? Rostyle? Wire? Disc?

We live in the United States. My father wants mag wheels. Like something you get on a Jaguar, etc. Tony, I showed him your question about the three wheel types, but he is not very familiar with each of the terms used. It seems like it is hard to find wheels this small. Also, he wants to be able to choose some fancy rims.
Thanks for your help!!

Why is it that there are basically only two styles of 13" rims for a 1979 midget? Isn't there any way to select a rim that has personality all of its own; a rim that has a different design than all the others? Perhaps the only way to do this is to have them specially made? I appreciate everyone's input. Hopefully my father will find what he wants.

well, other than the "known" available rims out there that most people go for, you could fit any other rim you'd like as long as it's not too wide and you make sure it has the proper off set. These numbers I do not know for a Midget.
