Tire pressure recommendations for tubed tires

Hey all,
Have read several posts on tire pressures for tubeless radials that most of us now use on our Healey's. What is the recommendation for those of us using inner tubes with my 48 spoke wire wheels - cannot use tubeless ?
Thanks,
Mike

Gee Mike, I never paid much attention to any difference because of tubes or tubeless. Maybe I haven't been very smart on that but I'm running tubes in original disc wheels. Whatever the tire manufacturer recommends. For me that's been anywhere between 28 to 32 maybe 33 psi. My wheels and tires were stacked in the corner for 4 years while I restored the car. When I needed them they were down to 25 lbs. I inflated them to 32 and put em on the car. I am going to buy new tires though because they are now over ten years old. Dave.

Thanks Dave ! I might recommend that in addition to the usual mfg's of tires for our cars, look at Nexen. They are sold by various outlets and Walmart. Have received good reviews for the money which is less than $45/tire ! Ride well, not too hard and for the money a great buy. Similar to the tire Kumho made but now no longer available at least in the states.

Mike,
On my MGA which has tubes and the liners for the wire wheels I run a little less than the recommended.
The TR4A has tubeless on wires and I run within the recommended pressure.

Cheers,
Irene

Only thing I've heard is if you're running radial tires you should also run radial tubes. They are supposed to be different than regular tubes.
