Tire cover

Hi Kevin,

I see you have a TR6, is that what you are asking about?

I don't know if the arrangement is exactly the same, but on my TR4 there were two snap "male" halves screwed to the vertical "box" areas on either side of the trunk floor, near the rear. Those snaps match up with the "female" halves on the leather straps on rear edge of the tire cover, which I'm 99.9% certain is original to the car. On TR4, the "rear edge" is the one with the metal channel reinforcement riveted to it.

Toward the front (nearest the gas tank), there are simply a couple metal brackets that the tire cover slips under.

The trunk area of TR6 is quite different, so I'm not certain if this helps.
