I need to replace my tr6 tires,,,,,I believe at present its wearing 185/15.....
i have seen posts with 205 /70/15
i would like to buy red line tires for it,,,,
im in the Toronto area ,,,,,anyone know of a good tire shop in this area ????
thanking you in advance,,,,

205/65 15 also seems like a good fit. You will get a different height with the two tires so see what you want.

You are not going to have many choices of tire brands if you want redline and they will be about twice the price of good blackwall tires, I can tell you that much.

Try contacting Queensway Tire Service in Simcoe, Ontario, 1-800-473-5737. I think they are a dealer for Coker, who make reproductions of the redlines in the original size.

Do you have original lever shocks on the rears or "Type B" strut type? 205s can rub on the mountings of the newer suspensions and some are of the opinion it stresses the suspension parts too much (the TR6 came out in UK with 165s...). I just changed my 185/15s which were old, hard & slithery & impossible to source here. 205s wouldn't fit, 195/65/15s are van tyres only so I ended up fitting Yokohama 195/70/15s. Fill the wheelarch nicely, reasonably priced and the speedo almost reads correctly. Plus my ground clearance is just enough that the exhaust no longer scrapes. Win all around for me.

No such thing as redlines in these parts...
