For those who remember our good friend Dale Todd when he was active on this site, I just wanted to let you all know that Dale is in the hospital again. I will add his wife Wendy's Facebook posts here:
"Dale is in the hospital with pneumonia and a blood clot in one of his lungs. He asked me to let his friends know. No idea yet how long he will be there. We do not have smartphones but I will keep you posted when I come home from the hospital to sleep etc. Got to run so I don't miss the doctor." This was posted about 10AM, and then from about 6:15PM, "The doctors are making progress in getting Dale stabilized. His pulmonologist and our primary care were both in to see him today. More tests are planned for tomorrow. Dr. Kim, our primary, told me to get some rest at home so I am enjoying what is left of the day on the screened terrace with the cats. Thank you so much for all of your thoughts and prayers. Your concern means a lot to both of us. Dale will see them when he gets home. I will be at the hospital again in the morning and will update you when I get home."
I know that several of the BCF members have commented on Dale's Facebook page, but I could not see that an update appeared here, and I know that there are some BCF members not on Facebook who periodically want to know how our buddy is doing. He had been driving Amos a month or so ago and had photos to prove it too.
Hang in the Dale.
