Has anyone figured out when the big three do their best sales?
I know that TRF has their Christmas sale going on through Jan 15...

 Yah, usually when I am at my brokest...

Hard to say Tom. It seems that they always put the items on sale that I bought the month before at a higher price.

Wait till the end of the month when they try to meet monthly goals. After a month or so TRF always has a sale thats 10% 15% lower than the mailed out catalog. I try to keep a list of all the parts I need so I can quick check with any sales. If you watch you can pick up some good deals (I think). Unless you need the part now, then no sales.

One solution is to join TRF's "Customer Investment Program". It's not as sweet a deal as before, but still good for 1/3 off the list price on most items, which is usually better than the sales price!

Disclosure: I'm in the program, so I do have a financial interest in TRF staying in business.

I think the BV cat comes out in January... and I'm sure I'll be broke...
