Can anyone post a photo of timing marks on a Bugeye Sprite? Also, I have read that some people paint new timing marks higher on the engine so they are easier to see than the ones on the bottom (or somethng like that). Can someone explain the procedure of how this id done and post a photo?

Many thanks.

I have the advanced distributor kit on my car . I don't think you can install it with the radiator in place .

The standard timing marks on the bottom of the crank pulley are only good to do a static timing of the motor. Remember this design goes back to before timing lights so the dizzy was set static.
To do dynamic timing you need to add a timing mark on the upper RH side of the engine. This is with or without the aftermarket timing tape.
Agree it is much easier to do with radiator out of the car. You need to add either aftermarket or homemade pointer to timing cover. Set engine to TDC using original marks and then mark crank pulley or add tape to the pulley
