timing chain tension tool

If it's the tool to adjust the upper chain I got mine from XKs Unlimited. I believe I did have to grind it slightly for proper fit.

There is a way to get around using the 'special tool'

If you can't find a tool to borrow, the chain tightening tool is not necessary. You can use some needle nose
pliers.

Put a request in to borrow one. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

If you can get hold of some needle-nose pliers with a 90-degree bend in the ends, it makes tightening the nut much easier.

I've the Alfa cam alignment tool and it doubles as a Jag chain tensioning one quite well, BTW.
