Howdy, I bought a TR7 a year ago, and joined this group then, but just now noticed that I was considered a "lurker" lol. So, now that I've bought my 2nd Triumph, I thought it was time for my introduction. Hi, I'm Lance, and I love cars. Always have. I was hoping to get some help today. I'm buying a '73 Spitfire up in Norway, ME, and driving it back to TX, slooooowly. I'm looking for a great mechanic as near to Norway, ME as possible to check the car over and make it (hopefully) reliable for the journey. Any help on finding that mechanic would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to much more interaction here in the future.

Lance - welcome to BCF.

You might want to touch base with Silvio Calabi of the Mid-Coast Maine club.

Thank you very much for that info, Tom. I'll get a hold of him.

Welcome Lance! I like TOm's advice about checking with that club in Maine. Good luck and keep us posted of your exploits in the Triumph forum here.
