Tonight was going to be the night. Start the engine after years of anticipation. We've been working on this car off and on- mostly on for the past six months. No such luck. No spark to the distributor. Seems the guy that installed the Crane electronic ignition exchanged the gray and black wires. I hope I, I mean he, didn't fry the black box. We tried to re-place the the Crane system with the points and condenser but still didn't spark from the coil. All the other parts of the car seemed to be OK. Darn... Tomorrow I'll exchange the black boxes from the other Spitfire and see if that seeming bogus box will run he other car. T.T.
